Services > Local Presence Management

Every Location.
Found and Trusted.

A customer looks up your branch hours. A patient searches for the nearest urgent care. What they find should be accurate – wherever they look. Lightstream manages local listings and reviews for banks, credit unions, and health systems, keeping each location’s information current across maps, directories, and search platforms. You keep ownership. We handle the work.

WHAT WE OFFER

Right Details. Everywhere People Look.

Local presence management is the ongoing work of maintaining accurate business information, managing location profiles, monitoring reviews, and measuring visibility across search engines, maps, and directories. It supports local SEO and helps create a more dependable source of information for AI-assisted search, without promising any particular ranking or recommendation.

Location Listings Audit

We check each branch, clinic, or office across Google Business Profile, Apple Maps, Bing, Facebook, Yelp, and relevant industry directories. We identify wrong hours, phone numbers, addresses, categories, map pins, and missing information.

Profile Access & Cleanup

We help your team verify or regain access to unclaimed and orphaned profiles, identify duplicates, and address outdated listings left behind by mergers, rebrands, relocations, and closures. Your organization retains ownership of its profiles.

Accurate Information, Kept Current

We maintain a master location record and update regular and holiday hours, contact details, URLs, services, and other supported fields. We monitor for changes and correct listing data that drifts out of sync.

Review Monitoring & Approved Responses

We monitor key review sources and post only responses your team has approved. Sensitive issues involving accounts, personal information, fraud, care complaints, or legal matters are escalated to the appropriate people for direction.

Industry-Specific Listing Coverage

We pay attention to branch and service details that generic listings programs may miss, from lobby and drive-up hours or ATMs to clinic categories and urgent-care hours. We also review relevant financial and healthcare directory listings.

Quarterly Location Scorecards

We turn scattered data into a useful report showing listing accuracy, review activity, response rates, rating trends, local visibility snapshots, and practical next steps – by location and across your network.

Project Spotlight

Ten Financial Institutions. Not One Clean Branch List.

In an October 2026 review of ten Lightstream bank and credit union clients covering 139 branches, all ten had listing discrepancies. None had a branch count that matched across its website, regulatory data, and directories. We also found legacy listings following mergers and rebrands, inconsistent review responses, and website issues affecting local discoverability.

WHY LIGHTSTREAM

The Platform Is a Tool. We Do the Work.

Software can sync data and show alerts. Someone still has to verify a branch, resolve a duplicate, track down the right hours, and decide what to do with a sensitive review. That is where Lightstream comes in. Our team knows the realities of financial services and healthcare, works within your approval process, and gives your organization one accountable partner. You get a predictable monthly fee built around the locations and services you need, without handing over ownership of your listings.

INDUSTRY EXPERTISE

Banks & Credit Unions

We understand the details behind a branch search: lobby and drive-up hours, ATM access, shared names, mergers, charter changes, and the outdated listings they can leave behind. Review responses follow your approval requirements and established disclosure policies.

Health Systems & Clinics

Patients need dependable hours, phone numbers, locations, and service categories, especially for urgent care, labs, and imaging. We manage location profiles with privacy-aware review workflows and route care concerns to your designated patient-relations team. We also offer individual physician and provider profile management as a separately scoped and priced service, including profile accuracy, practice affiliations, and updates when providers join, leave, or relocate.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Common Questions From Marketing Teams

It is an ongoing service that keeps each of your organization’s location profiles accurate across search engines, maps, review sites, and directories. It includes auditing and updating listings, managing duplicates, monitoring reviews, and reporting on results.

The software supplies tools. Lightstream supplies the people who use them: reviewing alerts, correcting errors, coordinating access, managing approved review responses, and explaining what needs attention.

Yes. Google Business Profile is a core part of our work, along with Apple Maps, Bing, Facebook, Yelp, and appropriate industry directories. The exact sources supported can vary by platform and location.

We identify legacy names, closed or duplicate profiles, incorrect URLs, and other problems, then work through the available verification and correction processes. Changes on third-party platforms may require their approval or take time to appear.

Yes, with appropriate oversight. We post only client-approved responses and route sensitive issues for review. Responses should not reveal or confirm a customer, member, or patient relationship or discuss private account or medical information.

Yes. A prompt, consistent response shows customers, members, and patients that someone is paying attention, which builds trust with the people reading reviews, not just the person who left one. Google has indicated that responding to reviews is one of the signals that can support local visibility, and recent, well-handled review activity is part of the picture AI-assisted search draws from when describing a location. Our approved-response library lets routine reviews get a timely reply within your compliance process, while sensitive issues are escalated for direction rather than rushed.

Accurate, consistent location information gives search and AI-assisted discovery systems better information to work with. It can support discoverability, but no agency can guarantee inclusion, ranking, or recommendations in AI-generated answers.

Yes. Lightstream offers individual provider profile management as an optional, separately scoped and priced service. It can cover selected physician and practitioner listings, specialties, practice affiliations, and location changes. The standard Local Presence Management service covers facility and clinic locations; provider profiles are not included in its standard monthly fee.

You do. Your organization retains ownership, and Lightstream works through approved manager-level access. We do not require you to give up control of your profiles.

Ongoing listing monitoring and correction, location changes, review monitoring and approved-response handling, alert follow-up, and quarterly reporting. Initial auditing, verification, and cleanup happen during onboarding. Individual provider-profile management is available separately and is not included in the standard monthly fee.
